Dave Grohl confirmed that the new Foo Fighters upcoming 10th record is now complete. “We just finished making a record,” Dave said. “And some of those songs, sometimes the best ones happen in 45 minutes… Then there’s other songs that — there’s a riff on the new record I’ve been working on for 25 fucking years. Like 25 years. First time I demoed it was in my f*cking basement in Seattle… So sometimes it’s 45 minutes, sometimes it’s 25 fucking years.”

Although he didn’t give any information about its release date, this new record will be their first since 2017’s Concrete And Gold. The band also dropped a couple of surprise EPs last year.

Dave also revealed that he’s working on a documentary about touring in a van, saying “I’ve interviewed everybody. And you’d be surprised, like The Beatles toured in a van, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, U2, everybody had a van… And there’s something about that time, you know it’s like, you wear it like a badge.”

New Foo Fighters album is “finished,” according to Dave Grohl
